Back in July, Martin Tremblay’s story surfaced when he tripped a 13 year old player from the rival team of the youth hockey team he coached.
Seven months later he has been sentenced to 15 days in jail and 12 months of probation. The judge’s ruling was surprising because it was believed that if he pleaded guilty he would have gotten a lesser charge.
His life has also taken another turn for the worst. Since the incident his wife had left him and his construction business took a hit because of the bad publicity.
