If you plan to go into WashingtonDC today, Metro will be your best choice (but it WILL be packed). The parade will start at 2:30PM.

The Mall and the Metrorail open, operating rush-hour service until 9PM. Smithsonian, Archives and Mount Vernon Square stations will be closed all day. Union Station, Judiciary Square, Capital South and Federal Center SW stations should be used by Capitol grounds ticket holders.

Security screening gates open to guests ticketed for the Capitol Grounds
