Here's what I did over my weekend!
I took the Maryland DMV sponsored Basic Riders Safety Course (BRC) for Motorcycle Riders through Montgomery College. What a BLAST!
Thanks to Athena and Eddie, my instructors, for dealing with my need to do every exercise a few extra times to begin to figure out what was expected from me on the bike. They were both patient and thorough instructors. I would recommend anyone take the course with them to get training and the motorcycle license endorsement to ride in Maryland.
For beginning riders, I'll be honest, it's challenging. Seventeen hours of class time and on the track instruction. They put you through the paces to prepare you for the exam that is given at the completion of the class. Successfully passing the writing and riding portions of the exam, you earm a certificate to take to DMV for the license.
I'm happy to be able to say, I PASSED the exam! If I can do it, you can too!

Here I am getting ready to hit the training track.
Now my journey can continue.
I am working with Battley Cycles in Gaithersburg to figure out which bike is for me. There are tons to choose from. They carry Harley, Yamaha, Ducati and BMW,New and Used, so there are tons of bikes to consider. I'll let you know when I figure it out!
I know this much already. I've got a new favorite hobby!!!
