Early results reportedly show that Taylor Swift’s new album Red has already sold more than 500,000 copies.

The album went number-one on iTunes within 36 minutes of release. Also, Billboard is reporting first-day sales of the Target Deluxe Edition trumping 160,000. The magazine estimates that it could move more than 1 million copies its first week out. Other figures show that track sales exceed 4.5 million so far, and Red topped iTunes in 32 countries the day of its release.
