(careerbuilder.com) Want to know what the average American work day looks like? Chicago-based Careerbuilder.com has got the answers.

Let’s start with the hairiest revelation in the data Careerbuilder released today. That would be the most popular hair part in offices. Are you ready? It is a middle hair part, the style especially popular among younger office workers. Forty-four percent of workers aged 18 to 24 said they part their hair in the middle.

Overall, middle parts were preferred by 34 percent of all respondents, with a left part favored by 30 percent and a right part by 23 percent. A whopping 14 percent didn’t have to deal with the hair part matter at all, because they responded as being bald.

And what about office distractions and the time office workers actually spend doing their jobs?  (Survey)
