(theboot.com)  Luke Bryan is enjoying his new role as a headliner on his own Dirt Road Diaries tour. The Georgia native, who previously served as an opening act for Jason Aldean and Tim McGraw, admits he's still a bit surprised by the overwhelming success of his own trek.

"We felt like we were going to be really strong in certain places," he told The Boot and other reporters at a recent media event. "But when I get an e-mail or my management calls me or my promoter texts me and goes, 'Dude, you just sold something out in five minutes.' That's where I always dreamed of being -- to have music out there that you love playing every night. You hear artists saying that they had to sing a song their whole lives that they hated.
