CARRIE UNDERWOOD: Isn't That Special?

We've gotten some new details on Carrie Underwood's TV special, which we told you about last week. We've learned that the special will air December 7th on FOX. Performing songs from her upcoming CD, Play On, as well as previous hits and holiday classics, Carrie will be joined by Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton and fellow American Idol winner David Cook. Fans who would like to attend the taping on October 22nd and 23rd can find details on OCATV.com.

LEANN RIMES, JEWEL: Yodeling Yahoos

LeAnn Rimes and Jewel are two of the judges helping select the world's best yodels for web browser Yahoo. Participants will compete to be part of Yahoo's new global campaign featuring their signature yodel, according to Reuters. The casting call continues through November 8th and details are available at YodelStudio.Yahoo.com. Additional judges include Randy Jackson, Pete Wentz, Kimberly Caldwell and Rob Cavallo.

KEITH URBAN: Home Boy

Keith Urban has been on the road with his Escape Together World Tour since early May, but he's managed to keep his time away from home to a minimum. He tells Nashville's Tennessean, "I wanted not to be out for more than three nights in a row away from my family. I've been able to put our daughter to bed and have dinner with my wife and have breakfast at home. I think the shows have been better for it."

Keith's tour is on hiatus until he picks it up again in Australia in December.

GRETCHEN WILSON: Playing Harder

Gretchen Wilson has released a video for her next single, "Work Hard, Play Harder."

"Work Hard, Play Harder" was used last year by TV network TNT in promos for Saving Grace, before the Black Crowes claimed the song was a copy of their song, "Jealous Again." A copyright infringement suit is still pending.
