In a scary situation, thankfully everyone walked away safe.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., his wife, Amy, and his daughter, Isla, were involved in a plane crash in Elizabethton, TN this afternoon. They were on a private plane with two pilots as it was departing at the Elizabethton Airport when it ran off the end of the runway and caught fire. While Dale was taken to the hospital (and was the only person from the accident hospitalized), it is reported that he only suffered from cuts and abrasions.
