Thomas Rhett and Danielle Bradbery Teaming Up For "Goodbye Summer"

It may only be the beginning of August, but Danielle Bradbery and Thomas Rhett are teaming up to say "Goodbye Summer"!

The special duo will release this track tomorrow, August 3, to radio but it isn't necessarily "new"! In fact, this is a "re-imagination" of a song off of Danielle's most recent album, I Don't Believe We've Met.

Thomas originally wrote "Hello Summer" for his most-recent Life Changes album with his dad, Rhett Akins and 2/3 of The Cadillac Three, but ultimately chose not to cut the track. When he made that decision, he reached out to Danielle and she ended up including it on her sophomore album, which was released late last year.

TR and Danielle have remained in-touch after they toured together on the Suits and Boots Tour in 2015 (with Brett Eldredge also on that bill) and Danielle often refers to TR as one of her mentors.

This is not the first time that they have teamed up musically either. Danielle was featured on the deluxe version of  Thomas' sophomore album, Tangled Up, on a song titled "Playing With Fire," which was originally recorded with Jordin Sparks as the female lead.
